Our client in Maputo is looking for a Brand Manager to join their team within the FMCG Sector.

Responsibilities

  • Define and ensure the execution of the strategy of each brand in the portfolio, ensuring consistency with Organization’s global objectives;
  • Prepare clear and strategic briefings for creative agencies and external partners;
  • Evaluate means plans, ensuring the best investment allocation;
  • Develop unique and relevant value propositions for each brand;
  • Plan and control the annual budget set for brand campaigns;
  • Collaborate in the development of visibility materials (POS, displays, point-of-sale activations);
  • Monitor competitor activities, consumer trends and market dynamics;

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in similar roles.
  • Experience in FMCG or consumer brands will be a strong advantage
  • Proven experience with media and reputation management.
  • Brand management (branding and strategic positioning).
  • Planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Media planning and campaign performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of Trade Marketing and point-of-sale execution.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
