Street Child is currently recruiting a Project Manager to lead the implementation of a UNICEF-funded digital learning programme in Mozambique. Furthermore, the project will be implemented across Cabo Delgado, Nampula, Gaza, and Maputo provinces between May 2026 and August 2027.

Street Child is an international humanitarian organization committed to ensuring that every child has access to education and protection, especially in crisis-affected contexts. Since 2019, the organization has supported thousands of children and caregivers across Mozambique, particularly in Cabo Delgado.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, implementation, and coordination of programme activities across all target provinces;
- Ensure effective rollout of digital learning centres and training activities;
- Supervise multidisciplinary teams, including Digital Learning Coaches and MEAL staff;
- Ensure compliance with UNICEF requirements and programme objectives;
- Coordinate with consortium partners and government stakeholders;
- Monitor programme budgets, operational risks, and implementation progress;
- Promote inclusive, child-centred, and gender-responsive approaches;
- Represent the organization in coordination forums and technical working groups.
✅ Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Education, International Development, or related field;
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience managing education or development programmes;
- Proven experience managing multi-site or multi-province projects;
- Strong leadership and team management skills;
- Experience working in humanitarian or complex environments;
- Fluency in Portuguese;
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
⭐ Desirable Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field;
- Experience with UNICEF or UN-funded programmes;
- Experience in digital learning, EdTech, or blended learning approaches;
- Experience managing consortium partnerships;
- Knowledge of monitoring systems, dashboards, and data analysis.
