Our client in Maputo is looking for a M&E Regional Coordinator to join their team within the NGO Sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and operationalize the Institutional Monitoring & Evaluation Plan, ensuring alignment with the Institutional Strategic Plan and national priorities for malaria elimination.
- Provide technical supervision to Provincial M&E Officers, defining annual goals and individual development plans.
- Conduct interprovincial comparative analyses on trends in incidence, mortality, IRS coverage, surveillance performance, and entomological indicators.
- Identify transmission hotspots, coverage gaps, spatial clusters, and resurgence risks.
- Coordinate the preparation of institutional strategic reports (monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc), ensuring technical rigor and methodological consistency.
- Lead the digitization strategy for data collection, validation, and analysis systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Biometrics, or a related field.
- Formal certification in Monitoring & Evaluation is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in Monitoring & Evaluation in public health programs.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in comparative epidemiological analysis.
- Experience in developing M&E plans and indicator frameworks.
- Fluency in both Portuguese and English (spoken and written) is required.
